The answer is always yes
I learned this principle from one of the best leaders I’ve worked with.
The answer is always yes.
His philosophy on approving initiatives from his team was simple... If they believed in it with enough conviction, he would back them. Every time.
What this did was send a powerful message while quietly placing the accountability back onto the people who brought the idea forward.
This guy is a strong leader. Not a pushover. So underneath every "yes" was a quiet warning... I’m going to trust you. Don’t let the me down.
No micromanagement or hand-holding. Just belief, trust and accountability.
This is a perfect example of how the best leaders think differently.
Cultures built on trust always grow.
