All Men Need Role Models

I’ll be honest… In my industry, there hasn’t been anyone I’ve looked at and thought, “Yep. That’s it. That’s who I want to be.” So I’ve always tried to be real. Authentic. Build my own lane.

But there is one man I’ve always admired deeply.

Steve Irwin.

For his mission and clarity. His humanity. For how he lived with a full spirit, full heart, and full commitment to his vision. He was pure passion. Completely himself. And he made a massive impact on the world through love — protecting wildlife and inspiring millions.

I use Steve as my North Star.

When I’m off. I’m unclear on a move… or when I feel like I’m drifting or losing my way… I ask myself one question:

What would Steve Irwin do?

That question nearly always brings me back on track. It gives me direction. It reminds me what matters most and it helps me stay the course.

Because in a world full of distraction and false gods, sometimes all we need to do is slow down… look up into the dark night sky…

And find our North Star. 🌟
